Come and enjoy this very special opening/fundraiser for Project Canoe, Thursday June 8, from 6-9pm. Feel the magic of the great Canadian wilderness through the paintings of Brigitte Nowak. Meet Brigitte and members of Project Canoe.

A portion of sales will be donated by Brigitte and Latitude 44 to Project Canoe, an organization that supports youth facing barriers. One of their initiatives provides young people with wilderness canoe trips.

“We use the outdoors extensively for young people who face economic, social and mental health barriers and are thrilled to be part of this fundraising event, especially for our 40th anniversary.” Tim Richardson, Project Canoe Executive Director.

“Trying to capture the essence of summer in paint,has been a joy and a challenge…my last solo show included only canoes but summer means that and more to me and I really wanted to explore that idea” Brigitte Nowak, Artist.

The show runs from June 3-30, 2017.
