Marc Nerbonne

Biography:

Born August 1st, 1977 in Gatineau, Quebec.

His studies at the University allowed him to experiment with many mediums like charcoal, red pencil, photography and explore numerous techniques.

His focus is on combining the use of acrylic for its rapid drying, oil painting for attaining richness in his colours and tar to give a rough and textured side to his canvases.

The work of the artist is very atmospheric, filled with contrast and chiaroscuro.

His paintings are wrapped in silence and emotions. We are drawn to his tempestuous skies and his landscapes veiled in mystery.
