Kelly Grace
Artist Statement
Kelly Grace grew up in rural Ontario with 4 siblings and creative parents. Kelly’s father was raised in the California carnival and local fair environment the 1950’s as his parents were travelling puppeteers. Through this creative influence in Kelly’s family history she was encouraged to pursue professional art training at the age of 14. She attended a high school of the arts then went on to study Interpretive Illustration at Sheridan College.
Kelly lives and works in Toronto. She shares a studio with her husband and two other talented artists.
Kelly is always striving to keep her work fresh and new. It is through her artwork that she tries to reach people and hope that it resonates. As an artist she is constantly trying to improve her skills and originality. Through this dedicated and prolific work ethic she hopes to convey to viewers the passion she feels for creating images.
