Claude Girard

Biography:

Born in 1954 in the Bois-Francs region, Quebec.

The plant motif appears in the composition of her paintings with an open window on the thematic of the tree. In using mix medias such as inks, acrylic, charcoal and watercolour, we can see appearing, under subtle wash drawings of light, a fluid trace of the line…her
passion for drawing.

The atmospheres in her landscapes, filled with sensitivity, mystery and subtlety, permit us to travel towards a more whimsical dimension, beyond time and space. She is in constant search of harmony and gentleness for a more poetic dimension.
